If you’re looking for genuine luxury, then I’d strongly suggest Rea Boutique Hotel. The boutique hotel has rooms with the services of a room attendant, climate controlled rooms with an outdoor terrace and barbecue facilities. My favourite part was the proximity of the ocean in Himare as well as the personal Jacuzzi on our balcony that included a view of the ocean.

The last, my personal favorite and the main attraction of Himare is Pine Side Camp. It’s true, you’re camping in the ground in Albania. The area was serene with tents set near the ocean, and there was the noise of the ocean breaking during the night. The hotel is very basic and is far from the luxurious resorts however it had its own distinctive style and certainly was an unforgettable experience.
